Living DeadSteven Yeun has officially joined the MCU as he has been cast in a pivotal role in rays.
The Glenn Rhee actor – who recently showcased his talent in Oscar-nominated drama Minari and Jordan Peele’s third feature No – will be part of the next Marvel’s star-studded ensemble film (by Deadline).
It was reported that Yeun’s role could continue beyond his appearance in rays. This has sparked speculation about the character he will be portraying, with some fans believing he will be playing the main antagonist Robert Reynolds, aka the Sentry.

Directed by Jake Schreier from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, rays is a continuation of Black Widow It is Captain America: New World Order should hit theaters in July next year.
The latest exit from Phase Five of the MCU, Marvel’s version of Suicide squad will see the return of several superheroes, such as Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Weird stuff‘ David Harbor as Red Guardian, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S. Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Phantom and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster.
Alongside Marvel newcomer Yeun, The bear‘s Ayo Edebiri has also been cast in an undisclosed role.

As for Yeun, it looks like he is very busy at the moment.
O Invincible actor will soon be seen on Netflix Beef, also starring Ali Wong and The Umbrella Academyis Justin H. Min. A comedy-drama stemming from a road rage incident, the series begins airing April 6, following its debut at the SXSW Festival in March.
On the big screen, Yeun will appear in Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi movie mickey 17with Robert Pattinson in the lead role and release on March 29 next year.
rays is scheduled to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
