Walker: Independence Spoilers for episode 12 ‘How We Got Here’ follow.
Jared Padalecki’s guest appearance on walker derivative series Walker: Independence was revealed in the last episode of the show.
The actor appears in the main series as Cordell Walker, with the spin-off taking events back to the 1800s and focusing on Abby Walker (Katherine McNamara) and Hoyt Rawlins (Matt Barr).
Despite the main show being set in the modern day, Padalecki appeared in this week’s episode ‘How We Got Here’ in a scene with Rawlins.

Padalecki’s ambiguous character cracks a joke: “What did the three-legged dog say when he entered the hall? … I’m looking for the man who shot my paw!”
While there is talk of teaming up to rob a train, the two end up facing each other, with Rawlins proving victorious in the exchanged firefight.
The cameo isn’t a surprise, as Padalecki is the spin-off’s executive producer, and the star teased last year that he might appear in front of the camera.
“It’s something we’ve talked about and thought about since day one of designing Walker: Independence,” he said TVLine.
“Be a flashback walker or a flash-forward on Walker: Independenceor if they can dress me up enough to let me exist in Independencebut not like Cordell Walker.
“I see a lot of fun ways to integrate the two and keep it walker-verse thriving and throwing easter eggs…
“I refuse to let go Walker: Independence continue without me being on screen in 19th century Texas in some shape, form”.
Walker: Independence Season 1 airs on The CW in the US. A UK release date or broadcaster is not known at this time.
