The Stunning Moment When Lakers Star Austin Reaves Absolutely Loses Control To Australian NBA Marksman Josh Green In Heated Scenes: ‘I’m Gonna Fuck You, You Ain’t Shit’
- Green is in his third season with the Dallas Mavericks
- He became known for his defense
- Engaged in heated confrontation
Aussie star Josh Green has been dining on his defense in the NBA and that tenacity led to a furious trade with an LA Lakers rival today.
Green, playing for the Dallas Mavericks, checked Lakers guard Austin Reaves near the sideline in the intense encounter, forcing his rival to lose possession.
The Aussie followed up with some choice words, which caused Reaves to explode and come face to face with Green, shouting obscenities.
Among the words exchanged, Reaves can be seen below: ‘I’m gonna fuck you, you ain’t shit.’
The duo had to be separated by teammates and both continued to yell at each other as Green was led to the bench.
Both players received technical fouls.

While the intensity shown by Green typifies his rise in the NBA, he could only watch from the sidelines as Reaves had the last laugh, draining a crucial triple to secure a 111-108 victory at the American Airlines Center.
ESPN commentators Mark Jones and Doris Burke roared to life over the incident, with Jones declaring that basketball of playoff intensity had come early.
“Oh, man, he and Austin Reeves fought a little bit,” said ESPN commentator Mark Jones.
“A little bit of rancor and bitterness coming from the outside, Doris, I said it before, feels like April, almost playoff time.”

Superstars LeBron James and Kyrie Irving separated the warring players as Green continued to yell at Reaves on his way to the bench.

Burke defended Reaves for his actions, saying he made a career out of his aggression.
‘Big implications. I like not calling, I’ll say that now,” Burke said.
‘Josh Green is going to sing some and Austin Reaves, now listen, this guy plays with a chip on his shoulder and if he doesn’t he’s not in the league.
‘He thinks everyone underestimates him, I love the no call, he’s frustrated about it, how would you say Josh is going to hit his guns.’
Reaves was asked about the incident after the game but was coy about switching with the Australian star.
“I feel like I always play with high intensity, I try to play every game like it’s my last,” said Reaves.
‘Something was said, and I really didn’t like it. It was a good basketball game.
When pressed further on what was said, Reaves smiled and said, ‘I don’t remember.’

Reaves isn’t the biggest or strongest player in the NBA, but he showed he won’t back down against Green
Green is averaging 9.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 40 games this season and recently had one of his best performances in the NBA, recording 15 points and four rebounds in a win over New Orleans.
But Green was demoted to the bench when Dallas signed superstar Kyrie Irving as a mid-season trade.
He recently said it was important for all players to provide support for Irving and Slovenian star Luka Dončić if the Mavericks were to challenge for the championship.
“Luka (and Irving) are going to have their amazing nights, but if we want to be a championship team it’s about the rest of us being able to step up,” Green said.
