Saturday night dinner hosts Ant and Dec hinted that there could be a twist to the ‘Get Out of Me Ear’ segment.
The duo, who co-starred with Alex Jones and Ronan Keating in The Only Showhost the variety show since 2002 and preview the upcoming series.
They revealed that this year’s ‘Get Out of Me Ear’ contestants would include Strictly Come Dance It is the traitors presenter Claudia Winkleman, describing it as “amazing” before explaining the format turnaround.

“She was amazing. This one was a little different because we took her out of a home environment and put her in a big Swedish housewares store,” joked Dec. “So she’s there talking to other customers and staff members, and she’s cringing.
“We thought, with Claudia, that she might be difficult to embarrass,” Ant added. “She did everything, but there were a few times when we got her this close and she said, ‘I’m not going to do this.’ It was fun and she was ready to laugh.
‘Get Out of Me Ear’ involves a celebrity wearing a hidden earpiece, before following instructions set by Ant and Dec. In the same interview, the duo confirmed that Joe Wicks would also participate in the challenge this year.

Ahead of the latest series, which premieres this Saturday (February 25), the pair announced that ITV planned to release a behind-the-scenes documentary on the show, aiming to capture “the inner workings, the unique team spirit and bold creative spirit that tries to do everything right on the night.”
In a statement, Ant said of the documentary: “We’re really excited to lift the curtain a little bit on Saturday night dinner. We’ll have footage of all the ups and downs, the last minute dramas that go along with creating a weekly show of live entertainment. Trust me, there are a lot of dramas that go on behind the scenes.”
Dec echoed his co-host’s sentiments, adding, “We love watching fly-on-the-wall shows like Drive to Survive which shows behind the scenes of F1, so I thought it would be really fun to let the cameras see how we do it Saturday night dinner. I would love to see Behind The Screens on more entertainment shows.”
Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeout returns on 25 February, airing Saturday nights from 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
