love Island fans loved the touching moment between Ron and Lana on tonight’s episode (Feb. 26), where the couple officially became boyfriend and girlfriend.
In what was a pretty low-key episode, Ron and Lana had a touching moment at the end of the episode where they made their relationship official.
“I didn’t think for a second that I would meet anyone as good as Lana,” Ron told the diary room before sitting down on the porch to talk with Lana.

Ron and Lana sat and talked about the reconciliation and Lana’s speech in which she said she was “falling in love” with Ron. Lana clarified that she meant it in her speech to prove to Ron that she can be open about her emotions, something she previously struggled with.
“We’ve known how each other feels for a long time. We’ve been avoiding saying it. I know we talk about being stronger than ever. I don’t think anyone comes close to us,” said Ron.
“I’ve never been in a relationship or anything like that, so for me it’s a huge thing. We’ve told each other about being exclusive, but that’s not enough for me. I want the title. I want you to be my girlfriend. asking if I’ll be my girlfriend?”

A laughing and visibly happy Lana immediately said yes and the two hugged.
Ron then poked his head out of the balcony and announced the news to the rest of the islanders, who cheered for the official new couple. Lana then said at the beach hut that the timing was perfect and Ron couldn’t have done better.
