Mind games? Jake Paul buys a ‘designer’ GIFT for Tommy Fury’s daughter and apologizes for announcing the birth of the Love Island star’s first child ahead of Sunday’s mouth-watering blockbuster showdown in Saudi Arabia
Jake Paul seems to have put his feud with Tommy Fury to rest – for a few minutes, at least – after buying a present for his nemesis’ newborn daughter, Bambi.
The American leaked the announcement of Bambi’s birth on social media, before sending an ominous threat to her father, claiming she had arrived ‘just in time to see her father get knocked out’.
But the Youtuber-turned-boxer seemed genuinely apologetic for his actions in taking the moment away from new parents, and presented Fury with a gift of a ‘designer baby band’, which Fury accepted.
John Fury then climbed onto the platform where the conversation was being filmed and shook Paul’s hand, claiming that he had ‘risen’ in his esteem in the perhaps surprising display of maturity.
‘I just want to say that I didn’t mean to leak your baby announcement,’ Paul begins in the clip. ‘I actually got Bambi a ‘sorry’ gift!

The duo will finally meet in the ring after a long rivalry on Sunday in Saudi Arabia
‘It’s very good, this is a great designer baby brand.’
‘Well thank you very much, I’m sure she would appreciate you,’ Fury responded as a round of applause erupted from the onlookers.
‘You’re up 1,000,000 percent in my opinion son, and may the best man win, I appreciate you, and may the best man win. Good boy!’ added Fury’s father, John, before returning to his off-camera spot.
Although ‘The Problem Child’ seemed sincere in his gesture, the pair had been carrying on a heated and intense rivalry for some time.
They were scheduled to meet twice in the ring, only for Fury to pull out on both occasions, leaving the prospect of a confrontation in danger of collapsing.
And on the eve of the fight – which takes place on Sunday in Saudi Arabia, the pair exchanged more verbal jabs, with Paul taking a physical jab at Fury on Twitter and the Briton promising his rival will feel “every one of my sacrifices”.
The feud also saw members of Fury’s family – famous for their boxing heritage – come in and have their say.
John Fury ripped his shirt off and challenged Paul to a fight after son Tommy’s fight with Rolly Lambert in November, declaring himself the ‘king of the sleeveless man’, as well as stating that Fury doesn’t ‘deserve to get paid’ if he can’t. defeat the American.

The pair will finally try to settle the score when they face off in the third question

This weekend’s main event between Paul and Fury will take place at Diriyah Arena

Fury’s dad John was quick to take the stage and thank Paul for the pre-match gesture.
And the half-brother of Tommy’s heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, said the 23-year-old can’t appreciate Paul and should stay in Saudi Arabia if he doesn’t beat the American.
It’s not the first time Paul has gifted his opponent, having bought Tyron Woodley a Rolex watch ahead of their 2021 clash.
Paul then knocked out the American former UFC welterweight champion in the sixth round of their second bout.
However, if it was an attempt by Paul to get inside his opponent’s head before the long-awaited fight, Fury seemed to appreciate the gesture.
