Old Coronation Street Star Helen Flanagan shared that her son Charlie was taken to hospital following an accident at Alton Towers.
Posting to her Instagram Stories, Flanagan detailed her trip to the Alton Towers Resort, with children Charlie, Delilah and Matilda. The actress said the family had a great time, with Delilah particularly loving the CBeebies Land Hotel, but when visiting a water park Charlie slipped “really, really badly”.
“It was horrible, absolutely horrible,” explained Flanagan. “I had to call an ambulance and he broke his collarbone in two. It was awful so I spent six hours in hospital in Stoke.

Flanagan thanked the paramedics, nurses and doctors who helped Charlie, saying they were “amazing”. “Thank you very much,” added Flanagan. “That was awful, just awful, awful, awful. Seeing your son in pain was just awful, but he’s fine.
“There’s not much you can do about it, apparently like it heals on its own, but it’s awful, when you’re a mother and you wish you could take their pain away.”
Flanagan, who played Rosie Webster in Coronation Streetrecently shared that she had a breast augmentation in January.
“This was something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and by doing it I really got my confidence back,” Flanagam explained, adding that she “wanted to do them right away” after breastfeeding Charlie.

“I had to wait six months after breastfeeding and then I went in January. I don’t regret a second of my breastfeeding journeys, they were precious moments,” she continued.
“I was a little nervous, I was worried they were too big for my body, but they are so perfect for me and so proportionate.”
