Coronation Street star David Neilson shared a spoiler for the show during an appearance on ice dancing.
The actor, who plays Roy Cropper in the soap, was on hand during Props Week to support co-star Mollie Gallagher, who partners with Sylvain Longchambon on the ITV skating show.
In a brief conversation with presenter Holly Willoughby, David described Mollie, who plays Roy’s niece Nina on the soap, as “fabulous”, saying her confidence has soared just as in Corrie.

About Mollie’s absence from the soap opera, David gave a small spoiler by saying that she had been replaced by a “furry friend”.
When Holly asked if he’d ever had a prop accident, David responded, “Recently while Mollie’s been doing that, I’ve got a little friend to fill in while she’s here,” he began (via Manchester evening news). “Can’t say too much because she’s not on screen yet, but I had this little thing in my hand and it left a little mess.”
Mollie advanced to the semifinals on the Sunday show despite being bottom of the leaderboard with a score of 33.0. The skate-off was between Siva Kaneswaran and Carley Stenson, the latter being the sixth celebrity to be eliminated.

It’s not the first time David has hooked up with a colleague outside of work, with the actor reuniting with exes. Corrie star Katherine Kelly earlier this month.
Katherine played Becky McDonald for six years before departing in 2012, and posted a photo of the pair on Instagram with the caption: “Well look who I ran into today… Still one of my favorite human beings EVER. #davidneilson #mightyactor #roysrolls @coronationstreet @itv.”
